On a two-spring door, both springs go through about the same number of cycles. If one fails from age or fatigue, the other is often near the end of its life too — so replacing both in one visit can save you a second service call.

That said, our technicians don’t work on commission. We evaluate the system and give you an honest recommendation instead of automatically replacing parts you don’t need.

How much does garage door spring replacement cost?

It depends on your door — its weight and height, whether it uses one spring or a pair, the spring size, and whether you choose standard or high-cycle springs. We give you a firm, up-front price after a free inspection, so there are no surprises.

How long do garage door springs last?

Standard springs are rated for roughly 10,000 cycles — about 7 to 9 years of typical use. Arizona heat and frequent use can shorten that, which is why we also offer longer-lasting high-cycle springs.

Should both garage door springs be replaced if one breaks?
