My garage door spring broke — is it safe to use the door?
No. A broken torsion or extension spring puts the entire weight of the door (often 150+ lbs) on the opener and cables, which can fail dangerously. Garage door springs are under extreme tension and are not a safe DIY fix. Stop using the door and call us — spring replacement is one of our most common same-day repairs.
Do you offer same-day service?
Yes — same-day service is available across Phoenix and the Valley, and most customers get scheduled the same day they call. For urgent issues like a door stuck open or a snapped spring, let us know it's an emergency and we'll prioritize getting you secure again.
Do I need a whole new door, or can you just replace a panel?
It depends on the damage. If one or two panels are dented but the door is otherwise sound and the model is still available, a panel replacement is often the affordable choice. If the door is older, rusted, poorly insulated, or the panels are discontinued, a full replacement usually costs less over time and looks far better. We'll give you an honest recommendation either way.
What's the difference between a chain-drive and a belt-drive opener?
Chain-drive openers are durable and budget-friendly but louder — great for detached garages. Belt-drive openers run on a reinforced rubber belt, so they're much quieter and smoother — ideal when there's a bedroom above or next to the garage. We install both and can help you pick the right fit, including smart Wi-Fi models you control from your phone.
How often should I have my garage door serviced?
Once a year. A yearly tune-up keeps rollers, hinges, springs, and the opener working smoothly, and it catches small issues (like fraying cables or worn rollers) before they turn into an expensive emergency.
